Description

Mikhail Th. Rassias is the last collaborator of the Nobel laureate John F. Nash, perhaps the most famous mathematician in the world, also known from the Hollywood movie A Beautiful Mind – the scientist who, from solving the most difficult problems and creating theories, almost collapsed when he was engulfed in the whirlpool of schizophrenia.

Miraculously overcoming his illness, Nash was resurrected in the scientific sphere, culminating in his Nobel Prize award in 1994. After M. Th. Rassias' first acquaintance with J. Nash in September 2014, a special chemistry developed between them, leading to a close friendship and collaboration.

The book chronicles their daily interactions in Nash's office, at the university library, and in the beautiful parks of Princeton. Their lengthy and enjoyable discussions shed light on unknown aspects of the tumultuous journey and personality of the Wonderful Man.

A narrative, filled with many surprises and revelations, about the adventurous life of John Nash and other figures in science (Einstein, Oppenheimer, Gödel, Dyson, etc.)
