The SmartWise remote control with 6+2 buttons uses Bluetooth technology (eWeLink-Remote) for controlling compatible devices and is a useful accessory for the latest generation of eWeLink devices, equipped with ESP32 WiFi + Bluetooth chips.

It can be used to control (turn on/off) eWeLink devices with a compatible eWeLink-Remote receiver (Bluetooth).

The eWeLink-Remote technology based on Bluetooth Low Energy offers significantly greater range (two or three times greater) than the RF 433MHz technology, reaching devices up to 70-80 meters away (in an outdoor environment).

The six buttons (#1 to #6) on the remote can be associated with 6 different devices equipped with a compatible Bluetooth receiver, while buttons #7 and #8 are factory set to "Activate All" and "Deactivate All," respectively.

The remote is compatible with the following devices:

• SmartWise S1W (WiFi + Bluetooth) smart socket
• SmartWise Mini 16A (WiFi + Bluetooth) relay
• and others that will be added soon.

The remote is NOT compatible with Sonoff devices that have the eWeLink-Remote HUB feature, such as the Sonoff Mini R3 and the new Sonoff smart bulbs with Bluetooth hub functionality.
