The Mon Vfd customer display uses VFD technology and displays 2 × 20 characters in green. It connects via an RS-232 serial port and supports speeds of 9,600 or 19,200 baud. Adjustable height and tilt, together with the two extension tubes, allow three height configurations.

The display features 29 international character sets and supports commands for cursor movement, rotation, character deletion, blinking, and time display. The base has four holes for mechanical mounting, while the rear features four holes for VESA extension arms. The Prolific PL2303 chipset creates a virtual serial port for operating system compatibility, and 10 command-set emulations and OPOS/JPOS drivers are supported.
