Rayher fabric dye gives cotton and synthetic fabrics a yellow shade. The 10 g pack dyes dry garments with a total weight of 125–250 g.
To dye, dissolve 2 tablespoons of salt in 2–5 l of water heated to 90°C. Leave the garment in the water for 30–60 minutes, depending on the desired colour intensity, then rinse with cold water. The dye can also be used for batik with the wax-resist method at 50°C. Wearing gloves is recommended, as the dye strongly stains the skin.
