Neofloor® is a cast self-leveling cementitious mortar for floor smoothing and repairs. It can be used in thicknesses of 1-7mm, providing a smooth final surface.
Applications:
- Smoothing and leveling of existing indoor floors made of concrete, cement screed, terrazzo, etc., in preparation for the installation of ceramic tiles, natural stone tiles, plastic flooring, natural or synthetic wooden parquet, carpet, etc.
- Final coating of floors with medium traffic, such as residential storage rooms, lofts, and other auxiliary spaces.
Consumption: 1.7kg/m2/mm
Application Method:
- The substrate must be clean from dust, free of loose residues, grease, or other contaminants. Cracked floors should be repaired beforehand by sealing the cracks with Neorep® repair mortar.
- For better adhesion, it is recommended to add 1 part Revinex® emulsion to 3 parts water in Neofloor® (6kg liquid mixture / 25kg Neofloor®).
- Mix 25kg of material with 3.7-3.9kg of water, adding the material into the water, until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is formed.
- The mixture remains workable for 30 minutes.
- For distributing the material, use a rubber squeegee or a large-area spatula.
- Air bubble release can be achieved with a spiked roller.
- For thickness greater than 7mm, sand can be added at a ratio of up to 30%.
- The fresh material should be protected from sun, frost, or strong air currents until it hardens.
Special Recommendations:
- Low temperatures and humidity extend the setting time of the mortar.
- Floors with permanent moisture must be waterproofed before using Neofloor®.
- The addition of 1.5kg Revinex® facilitates the leveling of the mortar.
- The material cannot be applied on metal or wooden surfaces.
