The Galactic Senate has initiated the "Intergalactic Decree" in order to expand its knowledge and influence beyond the already known corners of the blue. Fleets from every planet have been launched toward the stars in search of adventure, wealth, and (hopefully) an influential position in the government sectors that lie beyond known space. Transgalactica is a worker placement and engine-building game with a high level of player interaction.
To succeed in this game, you will travel to the far reaches of the galaxy, improve your fleet's influence in all galactic affairs, compete with other fleets for technological advancements, build a trade network, and perhaps even have your representatives in the Galactic Congress to gain political advantages.
The game is divided into five rounds. In each round, players use their Captains to perform powerful actions on their own task boards. Then, the other players can follow by performing the same action using their crew.
