The diffuser optimizes the carbon dioxide entering the aquarium for effective absorption by plants and less waste. As the CO2 bubbles pass through the porous diffuser, they disperse into streams of microscopic bubbles. With increased surface area, the microscopic CO2 bubbles dissolve easily in the water, increasing the CO2 saturation in the aquarium ecosystem.

To use the CO2 diffuser, connect the CO2 tubing to the diffuser. It is recommended to set the pressure on your regulator to at least 2 bar as a starting point. Let the diffuser soak in the aquarium water for at least 2 hours before applying pressure. Initially, the diffuser will produce large bubbles around the ring. During the first 24 hours, the ceramic pores will fill with water and the bubble size will reduce to the optimal size.
