    Excellent UPS!
    This particular model is On-Line type, meaning it provides continuous power without waiting for an outage. The On-Line types always pass the power through the batteries and always condition it before outputting it, resulting in the voltage always being stable regardless of what happens in the HEDNO (formerly PPC) network.
    The UPS also has automatic or manual By-Pass. That means if the battery fails and the UPS can't hold, it will automatically by-pass it. Also, if the battery needs to be replaced, with manual by-pass it is not necessary to turn off the devices connected to it. You change the battery and as soon as you connect it, you take it out of by-pass and you're ready, 0 downtime.
    What needs attention is that the fans run continuously and do not slow down because the battery is always working and needs to be kept cool. In an office you can ignore it, but in a room it becomes quite noticeable after a while.
