    I am amazed. Coming from a ceramic hob by Pitsos, the difference in build quality and cooking speed is huge. It boils a liter of water in less than 2 minutes!!! We have practically stopped using the kettle. Of course, you need to be careful when, for example, heating milk. In that case, you should set the intensity to 5 or 6 because otherwise the milk "sticks" to the bottom of the pot. If you set it to P, you have a glass ready in less than a minute.

    Another reason I chose it is that it has 2 large identical zones on the left side (which can be combined into one rectangular zone). It's very hard to find a hob nowadays that has a large zone at the back. I wanted this to be more confident about the steam. The smallest briki I have used that works is 8 cm on the front right zone.

    Aesthetically, it's a very beautiful hob with easy controls. You just press to turn it on, it recognizes the zone(s) where you've placed the cookware, and you select the intensity you want from 1-9. There's 0 to turn off the zone and P for extra intensity. I haven't noticed any malfunctions or difficulty when selecting the buttons, even with wet fingers.

    The way the Hob2Hood works is also magical, where the hob automatically turns on the extractor fan when needed and operates it automatically depending on the amount of steam. Its cooperation with the AEG DGE5661HM is truly flawless and you forget you even need an extractor fan.
