Exclusive tournament chessboard measuring 48 x 48 cm, with walnut and mahogany finish, double varnished, with alphabetical notation. The squares measure 50 x 50 mm, making them ideal for Staunton No. 5 and 6 pieces, as well as imported chess pieces sized 3.5 - 3.75 inches (models with a smaller base diameter).

The ideal match for this chessboard is the German (Timeless) pieces in 3.5" size. This combination creates a set almost identical (half a size smaller) to the electronic sets used in major chess tournaments.

The chessboard features a black border separating the playing area from the edges. On the underside of the chessboard, there are 4 felt pads that ensure stability on tables, desks, or other hard and flat surfaces.

Most chess tournaments use boards with squares ranging from 50 to 58 mm. Boards made from cardboard, plastic, as well as classic wooden and electronic boards from DGT are used.
