Tournament chessboard with an attractive design made from maple or sycamore, processed with mahogany. This process gives the chessboard an excellent appearance, similar to chessboards made from precious ebony. It is a wonderful alternative to chessboards made from wenge wood.

The chessboard, with overall dimensions of 48x48 cm, features squares made from light and darkened sycamore, measuring 50x50 millimeters, and is ideal for medium-sized 3.5" pieces or Staunton No. 5 pieces.

On the base of the chessboard there are 4 felt pads that ensure smooth sliding and stability on a table, desk, or any other hard and flat surface.

Chessboards are widely recognized as professional chessboards. Most chess tournaments are played on chessboards with squares ranging from 50 to 58 millimeters. International tournaments currently use electronic chessboards.
