The chessboard for the international chess tournament is made from walnut (dark squares) and maple or sycamore (light squares). This combination provides the chessboard with an excellent appearance, similar to exclusive chessboards made from Indian rosewood and boxwood.

The chessboard measures a total of 36 x 36 centimeters, with squares measuring 38 x 38 millimeters, making it ideal for smaller pieces 3" or for Staunton No. 4 pieces.

On the underside of the chessboard, there are 4 pads to ensure stability on a table, desk, or any other hard, flat surface.

Chessboards are widely considered professional. Most tournament chessboards use squares measuring from 50 to 58 millimeters, while international tournaments mainly use electronic chessboards with 55-millimeter squares.
