Tournament chessboard, decorated with mahogany or sycamore that has undergone an ebonizing process. This process gives the board an exceptional appearance, similar to boards made from precious ebony. It is a wonderful alternative to boards made from wenge wood.

The dimensions of the board are 44x44cm, with squares made of light and darkened sycamore measuring 45x45mm, making it suitable for our small and medium-sized pieces of 3.00" - 3.50" or Staunton No. 4 and No. 5 pieces.

On the underside of the board, there are 4 fabric pads that ensure smooth sliding and stability on tables, desks, or other hard and flat surfaces.

Chessboards are widely recognized as professional boards. Most interclub chess competitions are played on boards with squares measuring 50 to 58mm, while international tournaments use electronic boards.
