Each Esha Quicktest strip simultaneously checks 6 critical water parameters:
pH (Acidity): The pH value, which shows whether the water is acidic, neutral, or alkaline.
KH (Carbonate Hardness): The stability of the pH. A proper KH value prevents sudden and dangerous pH fluctuations.
GH (General Hardness): The concentration of dissolved minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, in the water.
NO₂ (Nitrite): The concentration of nitrites, which are highly toxic and dangerous for fish.
NO₃ (Nitrate): The concentration of nitrates, which at high levels can cause stress to fish and promote algae growth.
Cl₂ (Chlorine): The presence of chlorine, which is toxic to aquatic organisms and should be absent from aquarium water.
