The zeolite filter medium is a natural, highly porous mineral. Through a biological ion exchange mechanism, harmful substances adhere to the zeolite and can thus be removed from the aquarium.

Seachem Tidal Zeolite has one of the highest ammonia-binding capacities to ensure quick and effective action. In a freshwater aquarium, the overall water hardness is not affected, nor is the calcium level in a marine aquarium.

Before use, the filter medium should be rinsed to ensure optimal results.
