Note: Leak Sealer should not be used when the pool water temperature is below 6 degrees Celsius (°C).
- Turn off the pool pump. Remove any automatic robot from the pool.
- Set the filter to BY-PASS or RECIRCULATE mode. If neither of these settings is available, remove the Cartridge filter before treatment.
Note: Leak Sealer may block jets. If the jets cannot be removed before use, do not use this product. - Leak Sealer should be added at a rate of 1 liter per 60,000 cubic meters of water. There are two application methods for Leak Sealer depending on the leak location.
(A) LEAK ON THE POOL SURFACE: If possible, locate the leak area and add the product directly to that area. Otherwise, distribute the product evenly around the pool.
(B) LEAK IN PIPES: Add the correct dose into the skimmer. Place a suction hose at the deepest point of the pool. Ensure the suction hose is free of air before application. - If you are unsure of the leak location, use the above method (B).
- Wait 30 minutes, then turn the pump back on. Run the pump for at least 8 hours.
- Record the water level and check after 24 hours.
- Allow all residues to settle (within 6 hours) and then wipe clean.
- For larger pools or if water loss has decreased, a second application may be necessary.
