The TerraMaster D8 Hybrid enclosure combines 4 SATA drive bays with 4 M.2 NVMe SSD slots for file storage and backups. It connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, with bandwidth of up to 10 Gb/s, and supports SINGLE DISK, JBOD, RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes. SATA drives are installed in tool-free trays, while M.2 NVMe SSDs are secured in place.

The 120 mm fan automatically adjusts its speed according to the temperature, while automatic RAID rebuilding and drive hibernation support data and power management. The enclosure is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux.
