The Fern planting medium consists of 100% coarse tree fern fibres from Cyathea spp., sourced from New Zealand. Its open, fibrous structure retains moisture, allows air to circulate around the roots and helps drain excess water.

Use it on its own for suitable epiphytes, such as orchids and aroids, or as an ingredient in mixes, as filling for moss poles, and as a top layer in terrariums. The fibres decompose slowly and resist compaction, keeping their porous structure for longer. The bag is resealable for storage.
