The solar water heater protective cover covers the collector and helps protect it from weather-related wear, as well as protecting the thermostat. Covering the heater during the summer months, when it is not in use, helps protect the water heater, boiler and water supply system from high boiling temperatures. It also protects against the sun, frost, snow and hail.
It is made of three-layer fabric: non-woven material at the base, virgin PVC and a surface layer of PU with aluminium shavings powder to reflect solar radiation. Eyelets and a cord allow it to be secured in place.
