Walnut oil (walnut carrier oil) is derived from pressing the fruit of the walnut Juglans regia of the family Juglandaceae. It has a light yellow color that sometimes becomes intensely dark and a pleasant aroma. It contains linoleic acid, oleic acid, tannins, and flavonoids. It is rich in manganese and melatonin.
It is used in cosmetology and in the production of soft soaps. It is also effective in preventing and reducing wrinkles and has action on other skin conditions.
