Description

We are in the new term of President Donald Trump, who has announced many of his revisionist intentions. He is discussing a ceasefire with Putin in his war with Ukraine, bombed the Houthis in Yemen to stop their attacks on western ships, expressed interest in the possession of the Panama Canal and Greenland, and imposed large tariffs on imports from neighboring countries, as well as on the European Union and China.

He wishes to transform the devastated Gaza into the Côte d'Azur of the Middle East, but without its population. However, he has not managed to find a country that will host two million souls.

In early April 2025, President Trump imposed new high tariffs on imports. The news resulted in a drop in global stock markets, including Wall Street. The fear of a recession that the tariffs on international trade will cause, if not revoked, casts its shadow everywhere. There is no doubt that the world we know has changed radically, but Greece is concerned with other matters.
