Useful information:

• When used on stairs: If there is a handrail, hold it with one hand and use the crutch with the other. If there is no railing, the cane should be placed on the same side as the weaker leg. Start with the stronger leg when going up and the weaker one when going down.
• Check the height: The crutch should have the correct length to facilitate walking. The handle should be at wrist level when standing upright.
