Rhoads Body Construction & Neck-Through Architecture
The body of the instrument follows the timeless Randy Rhoads asymmetrical design, crafted from solid wood for balanced acoustic resonance and clarity. The Neck-Through-Body construction ensures direct transfer of vibrations from the neck to the body wings, enhancing natural sustain. At the same time, the absence of a conventional heel at the joint provides the left hand with full, unobstructed access up to the 24th fret. The glossy Purple Metallic finish is paired with dark perimeter binding, effectively protecting the instrument’s surface from external wear.
Maple Neck, Graphite Reinforcement & 12"–16" Compound Radius
The one-piece maple neck (Maple) is internally reinforced with graphite rods (Graphite Reinforcement), providing maximum structural stability against temperature changes and humidity. The laurel fingerboard features a 12"-16" Compound Radius, starting at 12" across the lower frets for comfortable chord playing and gradually flattening to 16" toward the body for smooth fast runs and clean bends without choking out notes on the 24 Jumbo frets. The Floyd Rose Special Locking Nut, measuring 42.86 mm wide, ensures the strings stay firmly in place.
Seymour Duncan Blackouts Active Electronics & Floyd Rose Special
The electrical circuit is equipped with a set of active Seymour Duncan Blackouts (AHB-1B / AHB-1N) pickups, which deliver high output with an extended dynamic range, a tight low-frequency response, and reduced background noise at high gain. Controls include a 3-way selector switch, two independent volume knobs, and a Master Tone control. The hardware features a recessed Floyd Rose Special Double-Locking Tremolo bridge, allowing for extensive vibrato use and dive-bombs with reliable return and tuning stability.
