The Nano system is compatible with all DSLR, mirrorless lenses, and modified vintage cine-style photography lenses. The Nano is fully compatible with Nucleus-M controllers and motors.
The Nano Hand Wheel Controller features a compact knob designed similarly to professional follow focus controllers (the design closely resembles the focus wheel of the Tilta Nucleus-M controller).
The Nano Hand Wheel Controller has zero latency. It is extremely sensitive, wireless, and precise. It is powered by a rechargeable 14500 battery (included in the kit) and has a 6-hour operating time.
The Nucleus-Nano uses a brand-new, state-of-the-art, energy-efficient micro motor. The Nano Motor is characterized by low noise and high torque. It can perform ultra-fast focusing with silent precision!
The built-in 15 mm rod adapter offers flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of cameras and professional support solutions.
The motor has a 5-18 V input tolerance for power via Micro USB port. This allows powering the motor from the 5V Micro USB output of the G2X tilt motor or via a P-tap to Micro USB 5V cable (sold separately).
The Nano Motor has its own built-in motor that communicates directly with the Nano Hand Wheel Controller. This eliminates the need to mount a separate MDR on your rig, allowing for a more compact camera setup and faster setup time.
Simply set the Nano Motor and the Nano Hand Wheel Controller to the same channel and you will have full control. The wireless range of both the Nano Hand Wheel Controller and the Nano Motor is 300 feet!
The Nano Motor allows automatic lens calibration, as well as manual calibration if you use lenses without hard stops at the near focus point and infinity, through the A-B limit adjustment feature on the Nano Hand Wheel Controller.
Each motor has a 0.8 mod, which is the standard gear size for most cinema lenses. The torque of the Nucleus-Nano Motor at 5.5V is 0.65N·m and at 14.8V is 1N·m.
The Nano Motor can also be connected to the manual FIZ unit and Nucleus-M hand grips, offering a variety of ways to control the motor as suits you.
The kit also includes a lightweight 15 mm rod support frame. The rod support frame is simple, reliable, durable, and aerodynamic.
