The Hand2Mind The Little Mathematician educational letters and numbers game uses Cuisenaire® rods to help children explore numbers, shapes and mathematical operations through hands-on play. The 74 colorful plastic rods come in 10 different colors, with each color corresponding to a different length and numerical value. By combining and separating the rods, children can experiment with addition, subtraction, and composing and decomposing numbers.
The rods also help children explore length, width and symmetry, as well as create geometric shapes and patterns. The double-sided activity sheets include wipe-clean surfaces, so they can be used for multiple activities.
