The collector is easy to disassemble and clean. It contains no metal parts. Part (B) is the valve, the sharp part is inserted into the elastic membrane (A). The membrane holds it firmly in the body, normally the valve is closed. The valve opens only during milking when a vacuum is formed in the tubing system.
