Chromodomi beehive acrylic paint is water-based and suitable for old and new beehives. It is odourless during application, has a low volatile organic compound (VOC) content, and provides a glossy finish with resistance to yellowing.
For proper adhesion, the surface must be cleaned of dust, grease, oils, peeling paint, rust, mould and moisture, then primed with water-based Velatura primer. Stir the paint well before application. Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun. Do not apply at temperatures below 6 °C or above 40 °C, or at relative humidity above 80%. It develops its full mechanical strength within 20–30 days.
