Worry beads made of Obsidian in black-grey hue, with a diameter of 12mm and a tassel. Obsidian is volcanic glass, and its name comes from Obsius, who brought this material from Ethiopia. When sourced from New Mexico, it is referred to as "Apache Tears." It was used since the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods for crafting tools, such as arrows, with the oldest finds dating back to 7000 BC. In historical times, it has taken on a purely decorative role.
