You play as Low and Alone, best friends since they found each other in this lonely nightmare. Each has their own iconic item: a bow for Low and a key for Alone. By working together, they have become skilled at slipping through hidden passages, leaping over huge obstacles with each other's help, and watching each other's backs.
Whether you play with a friend or with an AI companion, you will rely on each other's iconic items to create opportunities and progress. The environment is full of elements and possibilities that imaginative children can exploit. Low's arrows can reach high targets, cut ropes, or bring down flying enemies, and Alone's key is perfect for smashing stunned enemies, breaking obstacles, or operating huge machines.
Wherever you go, Nowhere is home to dreadful monsters. These Residents will not hesitate to do whatever they can to capture any bothersome little Visitor who draws their attention.
You may find yourself playing a terrifying game of hide and seek with the Baby Monster in the sandy ruins of the Necropolis, struggling to avoid swarms of ravenous Candy Beetles in a disturbing Candy Factory, or dodging your own heavy footsteps as you run along the wet seaside road of a grimy amusement park.
You must be ready to run, hide, or even defend yourself at any moment in order to stay calm.
