Very nice in taste but:
1. It definitely needs water
2. And it is very difficult to take it on the go.

GU is my favorite brand of gels. This flavor and the banana/strawberry are the least sweet and easiest to swallow during exercise!

It ruined my stomach. Very thick texture, heavy bittersweet taste on its own, while diluted in water the taste is three times worse, almost vomit-inducing. I'm sorry I paid so much for it

I did not notice a big difference in running performance compared to other gels, such as Maurten. Be careful, take them with water otherwise they will get stuck in your throat.

It was not stated in a prominent place that it contains caffeine, I had to look in the fine print. The packaging was different from the one shown. Finally, it said for use during exercise and not before.

Having tried the vanilla and salted caramel flavors, this strawberry banana flavor is the mildest. It is a very sweet product, and you definitely need a bit of water while running to get rid of that intense taste from your mouth, however, its price is affordable and that counts. It opens difficultly when you run. The other well-known company with products at double the price, for me, is better. Both in terms of flavor and texture and packaging opening, (excluding price).

It's not bad, but it's expensive for a serving of carbohydrates. There are cheaper options. Try it and you'll understand.

Very digestible and ideal for long runs. With a workout every 45 minutes, the body receives the energy it needs. The taste is slightly sweeter than I would prefer, but it's not too overpowering.

Very powerful Energy Gel. I use it for long-distance cycling and combine it with a banana in a 3-hour ride. It is particularly dense, has a good taste, the taste does not linger in the mouth, and you feel its energy within 5-10 minutes. You consume it all at once with 300-400ml of water, and for me, it lasts for at least 40-50 minutes. I combine it with solid food, such as a banana, energy bars without any stomach issues. It is ideal for the last hour when you want to give something extra, or when you expect a segment of high intensity.

It is one of the best in its category, it does what it says so everything is good

Very good energy performance. It is very dense and like all gels in its category, it is combined with water. You drink the gel with about 200 ml of water (two good gulps). You don't use it alone. It is perfect for cycling where you also have a water bottle. It is not ideal for running because you will have to carry water with you. You feel the kick shortly after consuming it and it keeps you going for about half an hour. The only disadvantage is that it stains clothes, it ruined my jersey (we don't throw away empty bags wherever we find them!).

Perhaps the best in its category, but personally, after the second one, it causes me a tendency for nausea. For a half marathon, it is great. For a full marathon, maybe it should be combined with something milder for the stomach.

Very good and reliable brand, I have been using its products for years. Very good quality-price ratio, definitely provides a little extra energy, necessary for anyone who does kilometers. Additionally, it has a nice taste, overall this brand excels in taste compared to others. I give it 4 stars because I have used a similar gel from another company that was "stronger".

There is no way you can consume it with pleasure when you are running. It's like a stock. Taste is okay. The caffeine gives you a boost which is logical. After consumption, you want water, which complicates the situation during training. I wouldn't buy it again.

The sure thing is that it has a very nice taste. Now, in what percentage it helps, I am not able to know. When you do a lot of kilometers, fatigue and exhaustion are given. From there on, whatever can help is good. As for digestion, at least for me, it doesn't create a problem, and I have been using it for 4 years. I believe it is as fluid as it needs to be.

Below average energy gel. I didn't notice any difference in energy/performance.
Poor fluidity, as it is thick and you need water to consume it, otherwise it sticks to your mouth. The taste is relatively good though.
A big minus is the very difficult opening of the package, which you can't open easily with your hand or teeth while running.

It is the reason why I prefer GU. Its taste is amazing, by far the best in gel form. It is like a dessert! Like all GU products (although they now also have liquid), it is quite thick and requires water. It is also very likely to get your hands dirty trying to consume it. But compared to gel in liquid form... 1000 times better!

A product that is worth its money and provides immediate energy where needed, especially at an amateur level.

Together with Espresso Love, my favorite gel. I have tried over 10 gels from other brands but GU made the difference. I always have 2 with me in the back pockets of my cycling jersey and usually use one on the way back, drinking it with a small amount of water. Of course, it's not easy to get it out and many times you end up with sticky fingers. Let it be.
It provides what you need: energy (contains caffeine), hydration, and a nice taste.

One of the best gels on the market. I have tried most of the GU flavors and they are very good. As someone who likes espresso, it leaves a very nice coffee aftertaste. That's as far as the taste goes.

However, the most important thing is hydration and energy. And they are truly amazing. They instantly boost you and you can easily handle even more demanding workouts. I have tried them both at the gym and during long-distance running. Very easy to consume, no need for water, and I think they are reasonably priced.

P.S. If you need something even more demanding for your workout, try the Roctane series.
