Description

Upgrade the sound of your productions with the dynamic microphone FIFINE AmpliTank K688 (T688W) in an impressive white color. Specifically designed for podcasters, streamers, voiceover artists, and content creators, it offers the perfect balance between ease of use and professional performance. Thanks to its dual connectivity USB (plug-and-play) and XLR, it easily adapts to any setup, from a simple laptop to a complex audio console. Its cardioid pickup pattern isolates your voice from ambient noise, while the sturdy metal construction ensures durability and elegant aesthetics. Additionally, it features built-in volume controls, a mute button, a headphone output for zero-latency monitoring, and comes with a shock mount and a windscreen foam.

Dual USB & XLR Connectivity for Ultimate Flexibility

The FIFINE AmpliTank K688 (T688W) stands out thanks to its dual nature, catering to both beginners and advanced users. You can connect it directly to your computer via the USB port for immediate plug-and-play operation without the need for external phantom power supply. At the same time, the analog XLR output allows you to connect it to professional sound cards, mixers, and external processors, giving you the freedom to upgrade your equipment whenever you wish.

Clear Broadcast Sound with Cardioid Polar Pattern

As a dynamic microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, the K688 focuses exclusively on your voice directly in front of the capsule. It effectively rejects unwanted ambient noises, such as keyboard sounds, computer fans, or room echo. With a frequency response of 50 Hz - 16 kHz and resistance to high sound pressure levels up to 130 dB SPL, it delivers warm, full, and clear sound that highlights every detail of your speech.

Full Sound Control & Real-Time Monitoring

Recording management becomes a breeze thanks to the built-in controls on the microphone body. It features independent knobs for adjusting the microphone sensitivity (mic gain) and headphone volume, as well as a convenient mute button for instant silencing. Additionally, the built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack allows real-time audio monitoring with zero latency, ensuring you always have full control over the outcome.

Sturdy Metal Construction & Full Equipment

The FIFINE AmpliTank K688 features a body and grille entirely made of metal, offering excellent durability for everyday use and a sleek, minimalist appearance in a white finish. The package is fully equipped and includes a shock-absorbing elastic shock mount that absorbs desk vibrations, a dense foam windscreen to eliminate plosive sounds, a 2.5 m USB cable, and a 5/8" to 3/8" adapter for easy mounting on any boom arm or stand.

I mainly use the Fifine T688W for streaming, gaming, and communicating on Discord/Teams, and so far I’m really very happy with it.

The voice quality is very good, clear, and full, without needing to make excessive adjustments. Since it’s a dynamic microphone, it has been especially useful for streaming, as it doesn’t pick up sounds from the room, keyboard, and computer fans as easily.

I use it via USB, and setup was essentially plug & play on Windows. Combined with the right settings in OBS, the result is much better than I expected for its price range.

It’s also a big plus that it can be connected via XLR, so if I want to switch to an audio interface in the future, I won’t need to replace the microphone.

The shock mount does a good job of handling desk vibrations, the construction feels sturdy, and the white version looks really beautiful in a gaming/streaming setup.

    Pros:
    • Very clear and full voice sound
    • Very good for streaming and gaming
    • USB and XLR connections
    • Plug & play via USB
    • Doesn’t pick up excessive room noise
    • Good shock mount
    • Looks very nice in a white setup
    • Excellent value for money

    Cons:
I haven’t found anything significant so far. It just needs to be positioned at the right distance and have the gain set properly to get the best possible results.

    Conclusion:
For anyone looking for a serious dynamic microphone for streaming, gaming, Discord, or content creation without spending too much, the Fifine T688W is an excellent choice. Personally, for the use I had in mind, I’m completely satisfied.
