Foliage: Dense, glossy green with curved leaves.

Size: Depending on the terrarium, it can reach 30–50 cm in height in well-maintained paludariums.

Flowers: Small white flowers ("spathes") that add decorative value.

Humidity: High, prefers moist substrate and atmospheric humidity of 60–80%. Does not tolerate dryness or stagnant water at the roots.

Light: Moderate, indirect light. Very low light slows growth, while direct sunlight can burn the leaves. Ideal for LED or full-spectrum fluorescent light 8–12 hours/day.

Soil / Substrate: Peat or soil mixture with good moisture but well-drained to prevent root rot.
