Graphite powder from Cretacolor. It combines with other powdered pigments such as sanguine, sepia, and charcoal.

It can be used dry directly on the surface of the artwork or mixed with water. Ideal for quick and thick strokes, it covers a large area. It is suitable for shading and tonal gradations, while in combination with charcoal erasers it can render various details in the artwork.

By adding water, a watercolor effect is achieved. It can also be dissolved in binders such as gum arabic, creating different effects. Adding more pigment powder enhances the intensity of the strokes.

It is recommended to fix the pigments with a charcoal or pastel spray after completing the artwork.
