Rex Erlicon electrodes are of the rutile-cellulose type and are intended for welding unalloyed structural steels, boiler plates, pipe steels, shipbuilding steels and cast steels. Their low welding temperature makes them suitable for assembling thin plates. They are also used for external fillet welds and vertical-down welding.
