The Triton 8 motor kit operates sliding gates weighing up to 800 kg and measuring up to 4 m in length. The motor has an inner housing made of cast aluminium and bronze gears, while the Profelmnet control unit is integrated inside.

The control unit includes separate limit switches and an output for photocells with a separate 24 VAC power supply. It supports adjustment of the motor force and travel time, as well as dual automatic closing. It checks whether the gate is closed and closes it automatically after a power outage.
