Mega welding wire is copper-coated, solid and unalloyed, for welding in a CO2 atmosphere. Suitable for joining unalloyed steels, boiler construction and welding pipes with a tensile strength of up to 510 N/mm².

Preheating is carried out at 150–300 °C, depending on the plate thickness.
