The LG 5231JA2002A, also known as LT500P, is the internal water filter for LG refrigerators, specially designed for models with a bracket at the top of the refrigerator. It provides clean, cool water and ice, with reliable protection against contaminants – suitable for families who want quality and safety.



Features:

  • Compatibility: Installed for use in many LG models (e.g. LSC21935SB, LSC26905TT), as well as in models referenced by code ADQ72910901 – LT500P and 5231JA2002A-S
  • Duration & Performance: Filters up to ~1,892 liters (about 500 gallons) or 6 months of use before replacement
  • Certifications: NSF/ANSI 42 (against chlorine taste & odor), 53 (reduction of contaminants such as lead, benzene) and 401 (and other unwanted substances); lead-free material according to NSF/ANSI 372
  • Technology: Carbon block made from pure activated carbon, specially processed coconut shell for maximum filtration performance and safe water quality without contaminants
  • Installation: Easy placement with 1/4 turn–removal/installation, no tools required; engineered fittings to securely lock into the filter body
