Nightshift is a thematic board game that immerses players in the role of a club dancer. The customer stories and gameplay are inspired by the creator's personal experiences, offering an authentic and empowering approach to this often misunderstood profession.

Players choose between five different dancers, each with a unique approach to charming customers. The goal is to earn the most money during the night. Be careful when interacting with another dancer's customer, as the night may not go smoothly...

Players use Action Points to navigate the club and discover new customers. Each customer is unique and has different levels of wealth and loyalty, as well as a variety of possible outcomes. Some of them will have a preference for a specific dancer. Choose your customers carefully! Interacting with a customer involves rolling dice, which, combined with the player's skills, Power Cards, and possibly a few Drinks, will determine the outcome.

Successfully bringing a customer to the Private Room, or even better, to the VIP Room, starts a thematic "risk" challenge. The goal is to maximize earnings from the customer without breaking the illusion... This is achieved through a combination of dance moves (by revealing cards) in the Private Room, or deepening the connection (by rolling dice) in the VIP Room, with the ultimate aim of making the customer fall in love.

Players can buy drinks from the Bar. Sparkling wine is a valuable tool to persuade customers to extend their time in the Private Room or VIP Room, while Snacks can help convince them to enter.

Watch out for the Full Moon, as it can trigger strange events… Players must also keep track of when they are scheduled on Stage, which provides benefits such as earning extra tips and Power Cards. Don't miss your Stage time or the club will fine you! These unique Power Cards add yet another dimension of strategy and interaction – will you help your fellow dancers, or play dirty?
