Description

Description

The present 12th edition of the book coincides with the unexpected amendments of Law 5172/2025 and subsequently Law 5187/2025 and Law 5197/2025, which are characterized by apparent strictness and mark upheavals in the functional coherence of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The aim of this edition is to provide a comprehensive structure of the work, a clear interpretative integration of the provisions of the (new) Code of Criminal Procedure, and the functional inclusion of the interventions of the new legislative texts. Moreover, through the combined analytical presentation of theoretical viewpoints and case law guidelines, the book offers solutions that are theoretically justified and practically applicable. The interpretation derived from this supports practice while being supported by it.

The book, in its current edition, already spans an over twenty-year period, during which its contribution to understanding Criminal Procedure has been highly valued and it has served as a useful reference in the field of practical criminal law.
