The Caleffi 253043 safety valve is suitable for use on a boiler, providing effective protection against excessive operating pressure. It is installed at the highest point of the central heating system and automatically opens when the pressure exceeds a preset value, relieving the system and preventing serious risks to people and materials. It is two-way, with two ports, one for inlet and one for outlet of the medium. When the inlet is closed, the flow is interrupted, while when open, the flow at the outlet equals that of the inlet.
