The Caleffi Safety Diode Valve is designed for use in boilers, providing protection against excessive operating pressure. When the pressure in the system exceeds the preset value, the valve automatically opens to depressurize the system, contributing to the safety of your installation. It is installed at the highest point of the system, ensuring that the pressure remains at safe levels without the need for a switch or valve.
Its diode design includes 2 ports, one for the inflow and one for the outflow of the medium. When the inlet port is closed, the flow is interrupted, while when it is open, the flow at the outlet equals that at the inlet.
