The cooperative board game Wave requires all players to move in a synchronized rhythm.
During your turn, play a card correctly onto the common discard pile. This card must be higher than the top card, either with a higher numerical value or with a superior coding (color). The challenging factor is that you can only see certain cards in your hand, as some cards are facing your teammates. Therefore, team assistance is required to choose the appropriate card. At the end of your turn, draw a new card.
If you cannot play a higher card during your turn, the game ends immediately and everyone loses. To win, all players' cards must be played onto the discard pile with no cards remaining in the draw pile.
Wave includes rule variations for experienced players to make the game more challenging.
