Approval Number: 14.430/30.04.2013
Composition: spirotetramat 15% w/v
Auxiliary substances: 84.06% w/w
Formulation type: Oil Emulsion (OD)
Category and mode of action: Insecticide, belongs to the new chemical group of tetramic acids and presents a new mode of action as an inhibitor of lipid biosynthesis. It is indicated for stomach action against target pests. After application, spirotetramat penetrates the leaves and, through its dual systemic action (upward & downward / acropetal & basipetal), moves throughout the entire plant. It mainly affects the immature stages of insects, which become trapped between two molts and are killed as they cannot progress to the next stage of development. It also reduces the ability of female insects to reproduce and the viability of their offspring. Applications should be made early and timely to allow spirotetramat to penetrate the plants and stop the progression of the infestation.
