Mercola 1910 elastomeric acrylic cementitious polyurethane waterproofing material forms an elastic membrane that protects surfaces from moisture and high temperatures. Its nanofiber composition helps bridge microcracks, while the membrane has no joints or seams. It can be applied to interior and exterior walls and floors, as well as to surfaces made of cement mortar, concrete, and asphalt.
This water-based coating can be applied with a roller, brush, or airless spray gun. The surface must be clean and dry before application; new cementitious surfaces must be allowed to cure for at least 28 days. Two coats are usually applied 12 hours apart, while a third coat may be added for greater protection or insulation. Application and curing temperatures must be between 10 °C and 35 °C.
