The SUM'TEC is a versatile, lightweight technical ice axe that combines features of a classic climbing axe and an ice climbing axe. It is easy to use in the axe-canne mode with a stainless steel tip and a slightly curved shaft. In the pulling axe mode, the ALPIX tip (forged in a banana shape) and the new TRIGREST handle (tool-free adjustable) ensure the efficiency required for technical passages, as well as for bergschrunds and persistent cracks.
Available in versions with a pick or hammer.
