Peugeot mills have been used in kitchens worldwide for almost 200 years, making them an iconic element of French cuisine. Most production takes place at the Peugeot factory in Quingey, in the Doubs region of Burgundy. Thanks to the complete production process, the grinding mechanisms of the mills are covered by a lifetime warranty. Salt mills are used for grinding coarse, sea, and semi-precious salt. Pepper mills feature a special spiral-shaped mechanism, ensuring optimal feeding and grinding of the peppercorns.

The grinding thickness of Peugeot mills can be adjusted either through traditional smooth adjustment or, in the case of mills with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of 6 grinding thickness levels. Peugeot’s responsible ecological policy ensures that the wood used for the mills is PEFC certified and comes mainly from local forests in the Franche-Comté region, while only solvent-free paints are used for coating the bodies.
