Spectrum HIPS 3D printing filament is used as a support material for ABS parts printed with FDM/FFF technology. After printing, the supports dissolve in a D-Limonene solution. It can also be used as a primary material for making parts with reduced shrinkage, high impact and compressive strength, and a matte surface with less visible layer lines.
Like ABS, it can be machined by sanding, turning, and milling.
