The Braun Phototechnik CPL / PL filter is a circular polarizing filter for camera lenses. It blocks polarized light and allows reflections on glass, plastic and glossy lacquered surfaces, as well as on water, to be reduced or enhanced. It helps prevent colors from appearing flat in photographs.
On SLR cameras, the optimum filter position can be seen through the viewfinder. On other cameras, adjust it by holding it in front of your eye, then attach it to the lens in the corresponding position.
