The Kenko smart filter set consists of three filters: a protective, a circular PL filter, and an ND8 filter. The protective filter is used for general lens protection. Made from high-quality multi-coated glass, the smart protective filter does not affect image quality. The circular PL filter is a basic filter with polarizing effect, eliminating unwanted reflections or increasing the saturation and contrast of the sky and nature. The ND8 (neutral density) filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens to achieve 8 times slower shutter speed or larger aperture on a sunny day, or to mimic motion blur in water and moving objects.
