The diaphragm pressure reducing valve is designed to decrease pressure in water supply systems and other installations where aggressive or explosive media are not used. The outlet pressure is adjustable via the green rotary handle and remains unchanged when the inlet pressure varies. Turning the handle beyond the adjustment range may cause damage to the valve. After each adjustment, the water supply should be opened and closed. Regular maintenance by qualified installers is recommended according to DIN 1988. The filter should be checked several times a year and replaced or cleaned as needed.
